C. Mr. Will Doolittle, Director, Offshore & Technical Services @Lightering LLC Will has 24 years of practical STS experience having worked for three of the US based Lightering Companies in various roles both offshore and shoreside. From 2012 through 2018, Will worked for BP as their global STS Superintendent. He was the Chairman of the OCIMF STS Focus Group (2015-2018) and was the Co-Chair on the Industry Taskforce on Offshore Lightering (2013-2018). He introduced the Toggle un-mooring pin in 1998 and the Double-D tail in 2007, and has a patent pending on a hose draining flange. Mr. Doolittle was instrumental in the development of the world's first commercial LNG STS (2008) and has extensive experience in LNG STS. He also worked with the US government in the development of breakbulk and Ro/Ro STS operations. D.Capt. Sheriff Saudi, POAC, Self Employed @ Shipload Maritime and OAK ENERGY Capt. Sheriff is the most experienced working POAC in the world, with over 11000 ship handling experience, including over 3500 STS operations in his career. He has a vast experience on STS ever since 1980 with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) in Percian Gulf, AET, and others in Gulf of Mexico. Starting 1992. He has gone all over stages of STS preparedness of OCIMF and has contributed in the STS industry with distinctive designs in equipment and with the compilation of unique STS projects. Combining his experience, practical knowledge and resourcefulness, Capt. Sheriff has created and contributed to the sustainability and safety of several STS Projects worldwide including but not limited to the establishment of full-fledged STS operations in Panama, Gibraltar, Japan, Maldives, and other parts of the world. {Available in the 07:00 GMT Session} |

E.Capt. Bill Kappelman, Lightering Master, @ Chevron Shipping, LLC Bill joined the STS world as a Mooring Master in 2001 after sailing Master on US flagged tankers. While working for US based Service Providers he worked as POAC in locations including GOM, US East Coast, US West Coast and Panama Offshore. In 2011 Bill made the move to Chevron Shipping where he works now as Lightering Master and member of Chevron's World Wide Lightering Team. The WWLT assists Chevron's Marine Assurance group in vessel approval, STS site approval, Service Provider approvals and assessments, POAC vetting, and any projects where STS experience is needed. Bill is also present co-chair of ITOL and has also served as vice chairman for the OCIMF STS Focus Group. {Available in the 15:00 GMT Session} |
