A.Muraly Pany, Managing Partner @Joseph Tan Jude Benny LLP

Muraly Pany is the Managing Partner of Joseph Tan Jude Benny LLP, a Singapore law firm well known for its maritime law expertise. He read law at the University of Warwick and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1995. He became an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1997. Murali has extensive experience and expertise in shipping matters. He has advised and acted as a counsel in wide range of shipping cases, including disputes involving charter parties, cargo loss/damage, marine insurance, casualty and collisions. A number of his cases before the Singapore High Court and Court of Appeal are reported. Murali is accredited by the Singapore Academy of Law as senior specialist in Maritime & Shipping law. He is listed as a recommended lawyer in the Legal 500, a distinguished practitioner in Asian Law Profiles and was recognized as one of Singapore's top 100 lawyers in the Asian Business Law Journal (2019).

B. Capt. Kostas Karavasilis, Senior Loss Prevention Executive @Thomas Miller BV Greek Branch

Capt. Kostas is a Greek Master Mariner with significant seagoing experience on-board Bulk carriers and Cruise ships. Prior to joining Thomas Miller's office in December 2019, he worked as a Claims Manager for a local hull insurer, gathering more than 10 years of experience within the marine insurance industry. Capt. Kostas is certified by LR as an ISM and ISPS Internal Auditor. He deals with Loss Prevention related matters and operational enquiries for local members, and he also conducts crew seminars.

C.Petar Modev, Head of Ship Inspections @Thomas Miller P&I Ltd.

Petar Modev joined Thomas Miller as Loss Prevention Executive in 2014. He currently coordinates the condition survey scheme for the UK P&I Club and provides technical and loss prevention advice to members. He is an ex-mariner and had previously worked at sea, up to the rank of C/O, for more than eight years. His main areas of expertise are tanker and offshore operations.

D. Martyn Haines, Associate Legal Contractor of DYNAMARINe

Martyn is a Master mariner and has served in many different ship types, from oil tankers to heavy lift cargo carriers. He has worked in post-fixture commercial operations and was the fleet manager of over 30 refrigerated cargo ships, before moving into P&I insurance in 1996.Martyn rose to the position of Senior Claims Director before being headhunted by a leading London Law Firm, to be a casualty investigator in 2011. In 2019, Martyn became an independent marine consultant and commercial mediator after accreditation with Civil Mediation Council. Martyn has worked with DYNAMARINe since 2012.
