OSIS Database welcomes Euronav Ship Management as a new member!

Dynamarine and their service ONLINESTS.NET have introduced since January 2011 OSIS (Online Sts Information System) database, a dedicated information platform for assessment of STS (ship to Ship) transfer operations. The aim of the database is to preserve high safety standards in the Maritime industry.

Participation in OSIS Database is voluntary and free of charge. Ship owners may extract statistics with respect to participating vessel performance, STS Service providers? performance as well as POAC performance without adding further work load to their shore personnel. Data are classified and treated with confidentiality and each owner may visualize statistics for their own STS Operations.

Until now more than 150 vessels from 15 shipping companies worldwide benefit from this database, by maintaining statistics and extracting KPI?s for their fleet STS Operations.

OSIS Database has more than 500 entries and is growing on a daily basis. More than 184 Management companies have recorded STS operations for their vessels, for 39 different charterers, 28 different STS Service providers, 293 different participating vessels, at 40 different STS Locations with 171 different POAC?s.

OSIS is expanding and soon, data will be able to be visualized by STS Service providers and their involved POAC?s, upon request.
