NEW STS EVENT COMING SOON

As we have informed you we were invited early this week by the STS SG (Steering Gear) committee at OCIMF in order to delivered a presentation associated to our Screening and Risk Assessment procedure and OSIS concept.

The outcome of our presentation was encouraging for our work. It was noted from some participants representing oil majors that the concept of onlineSTS.net encapsulates a ?clear? and ?neat? reporting system. Furthermore our impression is that the benchmarking and STS feedback included in the Screening reporting and OSIS was recognized as a positive issue.

It is worth mentioning that our clients have informed us that they have received positive comments after TMSA audits from Shell, Total, Exxon Mobil, for their participation in the Screening and OSIS service.

The new STS guide is currently under preparation and is expected to be released for review to industry representatives early May this year.

Further to the success of the last open seminar of 3rd March 2011 organized by UK P&I and Dynamarine and since the STS Plans have been developed and utilized for a while, we shall soon arrange an open event towards the shipping industry in order to obtain your feedback for the implementation of the resolution until now and exchange our viewes. We shall keep you informed accordingly in due course.

However, we shall continue to be in direct contact with our clients in order to keep them up to date with the developments related to STS issues as received from many sources worldwide.

Further to our visit to London we would also like to inform you that unofficially meetings were held with IMO, Intertanko and UK P&I club.
