DYNAMARINe Academy Training Course: Marine Assessor 31 JANUARY-1 February, 2022

Course aim and objectives: This course provides comprehensive knowledge for learning the skills and becoming qualified in conducting on-the-job competency assessment of seafarers while performing critical operations on vessels by learning assessment techniques with the purpose of enhancing continual improvement and identifying potential performance gaps. The course incorporates elements of IMO-STCW Code Reg. I/6 regarding the qualifications of marine assessors, IMO Model Course 1.30 and OCIMF's TMSA, SIGTTO & DBMS best practice guidelines regarding the technical and behavioral competency assessment techniques. The course also complements seafarers' skills through benchmarking for improvement of safety performance and competency standards of seafarers.

Participation: This training is open to shipping company managers, superintendents, internal auditors, deck & engine senior ship officers as well as office personnel responsible for conducting seafarer competency assessments to improve performance. Participants, to pass this course and achieve a certificate of completion as qualified Marine Assessors are required to prepare for day 2 and present in class an assessment plan for verification of competency of seafarer according to rank for which they will be evaluated by the rest of the class.

Course duration: 2 days: This training program is provided in 12-hours with real time instruction through zoom platform in two 6-hour pre-scheduled interactive learning sessions.

Fees: Euros 350 per day per participant. Discount of 10% is offered to individual participants registering to this course. Group discounts of 15% can be arranged for companies registering 3+ persons. Upon registration, a link shall be provided to participants for accessing the course
