DYNAMARINe Academy Training Course: Crisis Management & Media Handling 27-28 JANUARY, 2022


Course aim and objectives: This course provides participants with the required knowledge for responding to marine incidents which if not properly handled may lead to an emergency where planning and effective response is required as well as deploying and utilizing available resources for mitigating the potential incident consequences as well as safety and environmental impact. In addition, the course familiarizes participants with the techniques and required training for effective response and controls for the types of shipboard related emergencies through practical implementation of a simulated real time table top drill.

  • Training, drills and assessment of safety performance
  • Reference and analysis of past marine incident reports
  • Media handling techniques
  • Effective implementation through a real time simulated table top drill

Participation: The course is open to shipping company managers, operators, designated persons, superintendents, masters and shipboard officers as well as the emergency response office and shipboard team.

Course duration: 2 days: This training program is provided in 12-hours with real time instruction through zoom platform in two 6-hour pre-scheduled interactive learning sessions.

Fees: Euros 350 per day per participant. Discount of 10% is offered to individual participants registering to this course. Group discounts of 15% can be arranged for companies registering 3+ persons. Upon registration, a link shall be provided to participants for accessing the course

Course Schedule: 10:00-17:00 hours daily (including 30 minutes additional time daily for Q & A and completion of classwork)
