BENCHMARKING ON STS BECOMES FEASIBLE THROUGH OSIS

OnlineSTS.net team welcomes 3 new companies at OSIS Database, Medcare Shipping, S.A, Almi Tankers based in Greece and Western Shipping PTE LTD from Singapore. The growing fleet of vessels participating at the Screening and Risk Assessment Service of Dynamarine is promising for the volume and quality of statistics for Ship to Ship transfer operations.
The undertaken risk analysis has the potential of producing unique vessel performance KPI?s for STS operations as well as statistics associated with the STS Locations and individual shipowners and vessel operational risk factors. Currently there are STS KPI?s available for more than 250 different ship management companies worldwide and their fleet, although only 18 companies participate at the screening and risk assessment service of onlineSTS.net.
An interesting issue is that STS Service Providers may now participate in OSIS. Currently Shipload Maritime Pte Ltd is participating and will use the system for self assessment procedures as per latest OCIMF guidelines. More STS Service providers are welcome to participate in this service.
